That might sound a little uppity of me, but there are a lot of really terrible-looking sites out there. And every time somebody comes to me and says "Help! I give a hoot about my web presence!", I do my part to create something unique. Ultimately, that's good for everybody.
All of the sites below are built on a Servee backbone with the exception of Holcomb Custom Homes and Roll Independent, which pre-date Servee. I test all of my sites in IE6 and up, Firefox 2 and up and Safari, and hand-code my sites with semantic xHTML markup and CSS. I rely heavily on the JQuery javascript library, and for custom development work, I rely on my brother, Issac.

The client wanted a dark "Rock and Roll" feel to this site, and I wanted the design to focus on the rotating photo gallery in the header. This is a very content-heavy site, so a focused navigation was key to keeping it simple.

Grace Summit is a congregation with a casual family-oriented atmosphere. It's a small church, but their Sunday Messages are fully trascribed as well as digitally recorded. For this project, Issac and I implemented RSS and podcasting on their weekly messages to increase traffic to their site.
This site is currently under development for a startup church at Kent State University. Since the target market is a college crowd, the client wanted a vibrant design that would relate to this audience.
Rich Holcomb needed a warm and welcoming brand identity that would set his residential construction business a step above the regional competition. This project included a full identity package and a website. I decided to use a small footprint for the site to give it an intimate feel, and I kept the color palette subdued and earthy so that every visitor could imagine themselves at home.
Without Issac’s help, many of the more complicated aspects of the sites I design wouldn’t be possible. He’s good at what he does. I did the illustration and layout for this site, along with the HTML and CSS.
This is a site designed for independent film makers to sell their movies to independent film lovers. The client wanted a dark and mysterious feel with her site. While keeping a low contrast between the type and the background, we successfully kept the focus of the site on the videos. I created the Identity for this company, as well as the homepage layout. The (extensive) programming was done by Issac.
Rolling Plains is one of the largest United Methodist Churches in Southeastern Ohio. This site needed to be a resource for the congregation as well as for people who are curious about why the church is expanding so rapidly. My contribution to the project was design and layout: HTML, CSS, and Flash.
This startup company needed their site to elude to the environmental aspects of their business. In addition, their marketing efforts focus on their superior customer service. For this reason, I decided to put their entire staff photo on the homepage.
