Kasey Kelly :: Graphic Design

There are some days I love my job… and there are some days I love my job.

I am the lead Art Director/User Interface Designer for Servee, a hosted content management solution that aims to change the way the web is built. It might be the best software ever. Which is good, because I have recently left a great job in order to pursue Servee and freelance design work full-time.

For four years, I spent my days working at Highland PR in Akron, Ohio, as the only designer on staff. Three account managers kept me busy with a wide variety of clientele. I was responsible for the entire design process, from chicken scratches on napkins and print quote requests to proof approvals and press checks. A highlight of my time there was a MarCom Creative Award for the 2005 Akron Zoo ad campaign. Otherwise, I designed brand identities, annual reports, marketing campaigns and packaging designs. I graduated Cum Laude from The University of Akron in May of 2004 with a BFA in Graphic Design. In college, I was one of three regional winners in the National Paper Box competition for a Golf Ball package design. I was also an executive officer of the local chapter of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity for three years, finishing with the Presidency in 2003.

Whenever I'm not playing artist, I'm playing my guitar.
