Good design makes me smile.

So if I do my job right, I'm a happy guy. I could ramble for days on the importance of clean and concise graphic design, but scoffing at Comic Sans and turning my nose up at center-justified copy doesn't solve problems. Graphic design in its ideal form takes a message and presents it in a logical and obvious hierarchy of information. The best design takes that message and wrings out the emotion and smears it across the page, all while maintaining a totalitarian grip on order and heirarchy. It highlights the whispers that lie between the lines. It demands an instinctive response. Good or bad.

And that's what puts a stupid grin on my face.

Hopefully, that is apparent in this site. My goal here is to provide a glimpse into how I interpret my responsibility as a designer. I take it seriously, but I can't hide the fact that this is my playground, because I enjoy what I do.
